Curriculum

DIFFERENTIATED LEARNING

By recognising that children learn in different ways and at different rates, the teachers at Mordialloc Beach Primary School ensure that the programs they offer will stimulate and extend all children using the 'thinking curriculum'. Each classroom uses a variety of approaches and teaching strategies aimed at allowing children to reach their potential (DeBono, Multiple Intelligences etc.) Attitude and achievement are regularly recognised at class level through Student of the Week presentations at Friday afternoon assemblies. Every endeavour is made to identify individual needs and strengths in all aspects of school life; in the classroom, socially and on the sports field. Sporting achievement can lead to competition at regional and state level. All children at Mordialloc Beach Primary School benefit from being part of this celebration of individuality and excellence.
