Meet your teachers
Miss Cravana (Miss C)
Hi my name is Dani and I simply adore working at Mordialloc Beach Primary School. Some interesting things about me include: I majored in archaeology at Monash University (never quite made it to be Indiana Jones). I completed my Masters of Primary Teaching at Deakin University. I have an Italian background, this comes with a love of pasta, coffee and gardening. My passion in the classroom is teaching literacy. I love exploring rich texts with my students, delving deep into the themes and characters. I also place an emphasis on the importance of student well-being and student voice in the classroom. |
Miss Charles
Hello! My name is Grace, I feel so fortunate to be a part of the wonderful team at Mordialloc Beach Primary School. Here is a little bit of information to get to know me: I love food, nothing makes me more upset than a bad meal! I enjoy spending as much time as I can outdoors; hiking, swimming, rollerblading and camping. I love to travel! After finishing my Bachelor of Primary Education I moved to London for 2 years where I was able to teach at a range of different schools while exploring the UK, Europe and parts of South/Central America. Shortly after, I moved to Vietnam. I taught at the Western Australian International School and enjoyed eating all of my favourite foods every single day, not one bad food day! I am now very happy to be back in Australia pursuing my teaching career. In the classroom I love teaching different topics through inquiry, posing questions and problems to build on students initiative and promote deeper understanding. |
Miss Murphy
Hi everyone, My name is Naoishe Murphy, I am a graduate teacher and this is my first year at Mordialloc Beach Primary School. I completed my final year of placement here in our junior school and instantly knew this was my dream school to work at. I was blown away by the ongoing support from both staff and parents, the passion for teaching and learning demonstrated by both students and teachers and the strong sense of community spirit and school pride. I am an avid traveler and have explored a lot of Europe, America and Asia, but can’t see myself slowing down anytime soon. I love going camping in Torquay, going for walks along the beach with my dog Lou-Lou, going out for dinner with my friends (especially Japanese) and spending time with my family. |
